About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Neo4j Database Engineer to join our team. This is a critical role focused on managing and optimizing our database infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Neo4j, alongside SQL and NoSQL platforms. The position requires extensive experience in database operations, cloud technologies, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Neo4j databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Operate and manage SQL and NoSQL database platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, DocumentDB).
- Implement and manage Kubernetes environments (EKS).
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, and MSK.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Deploy and manage applications using GitOps tools like FluxCD/ArgoCD.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus/Grafana.
- Manage logging and monitoring stacks like ELK/ECK.
- Write and maintain scripts in Bash and at least one other modern programming language (Java, JavaScript, C#, Python).
- Apply a deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud computing principles.
- Demonstrate success in managing complex software products, including multiple versions/releases.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years of overall experience.
- Advanced Neo4j is mandatory.
- Operational experience with at least one SQL and one NoSQL Database platform (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, DocumentDB, Neo4j).
- Kubernetes / EKS.
- AWS EC2, EKS, EBS, S3, RDS, MSK or equivalents on other Cloud Providers.
- GitHub Actions or similar Cloud based CI tooling.
- Terraform.
- FluxCD/ArgoCD or Similar GitOps based Kubernetes CD tool.
- Docker.
- Prometheus / Grafana.
- ELK/ECK stack.
- Proficiency in Bash, plus at least one other modern programming language (Java, JavaScript, C#, Python).
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud computing.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex software products.
