Role Overview
Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This position is primarily based in Redmond, Washington, but offers the flexibility of remote work, provided the candidate can strictly align their schedule with the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. As a core member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated cloud-native applications that leverage the full power of the Microsoft technology stack and Azure cloud services. This is a long-term contract opportunity designed for engineers who thrive in high-scale environments and are passionate about modern software architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust microservices using C# and the .NET framework, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure DevOps for seamless continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Optimize data storage and processing workflows using SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Delta Lake architectures to support data-driven decision-making.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration through Kubernetes to ensure consistent environments across development, staging, and production.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and UI/UX designers, within a fast-paced Agile/Scrum framework.
- Participate in deep-dive code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentor junior developers to maintain high standards of code quality and architectural integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full application stack, from database performance tuning to front-end responsiveness.
- Ensure all developed components are secure, following industry best practices for cloud security and data protection.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development with a heavy focus on the Microsoft technology stack.
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET 6/7+, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and memory management.
- Proven experience building and deploying microservices in a production environment, including service discovery and inter-service communication.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform, specifically AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Deep understanding of relational databases (SQL) and modern data lake technologies like Delta Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Familiarity with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (such as Angular or React) is highly desirable for this full-stack profile.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
Work Environment and Compensation
This role offers a competitive compensation package at $60/hr on a C2C (Corp-to-Corp) basis. Salary: $124,800 – $135,000 per year
