Position Summary
We are looking for an expert OpenText Exstream Consultant for a critical contract role focused on modernizing and migrating in-house composition capabilities to the OpenText Exstream platform. This is a remote opportunity, though the project is centered in New Jersey. The successful candidate will lead the architectural design and implementation of a platform that supports batch, real-time, and interactive communication needs, including letters, quotes, and proposals for major business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex customer requirements to design solution architecture and integration strategies for Exstream solutions.
- Lead the migration of composition workloads from third-party vendors to an in-house Exstream capability.
- Install, configure, and maintain the Exstream platform across various environments, including cloud (AWS) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Design high-availability (HA) and high-volume architectures to support omni-channel delivery (mobile, online, print, email).
- Utilize Exstream Design Manager, Communication Builder, and OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) for comprehensive solution building.
- Implement interactive features using Exstream Empower and Content Author, and integrate with Adobe eSign.
- Orchestrate publishing tasks and optimize logging, fault detection, and error handling using Communication Server and Orchestrator.
- Conduct customer workshops to demonstrate product capabilities and align technical solutions with business goals.
- Perform platform performance tuning and ensure seamless integration with CRM and custom enterprise systems.
Technical Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM) and document composition.
- Expertise in the full OpenText Exstream product suite, including Workshop, Supervisor, and StoryTeller.
- Strong background in AWS Cloud Platform and DevOps concepts.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and integration tasks.
- Familiarity with other CCM products such as Quadient Inspire, SmartComm, or xPression is a significant plus.
- Proven ability to lead technical resources and partner teams through complex implementation cycles.
Project Impact
This role is pivotal in a larger digital transformation effort. You will be responsible for redesigning legacy templates and ensuring that the new platform meets the rigorous demands of a high-volume enterprise environment. Your expertise will directly influence the efficiency of business communications and the quality of the customer experience across multiple digital and physical channels.
Special Requirements
C2C Role. Remote work allowed. Domain restriction: OpenText Exstream ecosystem expertise required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
