Overview of the Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Lead Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Lead with a strong background in both Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules. Our esteemed client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a 5-day onsite contract role. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of technical expertise (70%) and functional understanding (30%), enabling them to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environment. This position is critical for driving successful implementation and rollout projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of Oracle applications.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and participate in Oracle EBS R12 implementation and rollout projects, specifically focusing on Finance and SCM modules.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into effective technical designs and solutions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes and recommend improvements leveraging Oracle EBS functionalities.
- Design, develop, and test RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) components to meet specific business requirements.
- Collaborate extensively with diverse vendors and client stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Manage and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, ensuring all functionalities meet user expectations and business objectives.
- Facilitate cutover activities, particularly for critical go-live events, with a focus on regions like KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) if applicable.
- Provide expert guidance and support for Oracle EBS R12 modules, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for technical designs, configurations, and processes.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle EBS features, patches, and best practices to continuously enhance system capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Apps R12, specifically in a Techno-Functional Lead capacity.
- Demonstrated strong expertise in Oracle SCM modules (e.g., Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management) and Oracle Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
- Proven track record of successful rollout and implementation projects within the Oracle EBS ecosystem.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
- Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively with various vendors and internal/external client stakeholders.
- Strong capability in designing and delivering robust technical solutions that align with complex business requirements.
- Experience in managing UAT phases and critical cutover activities, especially for go-live scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,600 – $187,200 per year (Estimated)
