Role Overview
The Oracle RMCS Cloud SaaS Functional Consultant will be a key driver in the digital transformation of financial systems for our premier client in Dallas, TX. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 and IFRS 15) and extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS). As a functional lead, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical system configurations, ensuring that revenue processes are automated, compliant, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design and implementation of Oracle RMCS modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing Oracle EBS or Cloud ERP environments.
- Facilitate comprehensive requirement-gathering workshops with finance stakeholders to define revenue contracts, performance obligations, and standalone selling prices (SSP).
- Configure RMCS rules, including contract identification rules, performance obligation identification rules, and revenue satisfaction events.
- Collaborate with technical teams to oversee data mapping and migration activities from legacy systems to the Oracle Cloud SaaS platform.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, including BR100 (Configuration), MD050 (Functional Design), and test scripts for Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide expert guidance on Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and subscription management processes to optimize financial reporting and forecasting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues related to revenue accounting, accounting hub (AH), and general ledger (GL) integration.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide end-user training to ensure high adoption rates of the new SaaS solution.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS revenue functional roles, complemented by a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on Oracle RMCS. You must demonstrate a proven track record of at least two full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations. Strong analytical skills are required to interpret complex revenue contracts and translate them into system logic. Excellent communication skills are essential for managing stakeholder expectations and leading cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Oracle Subscription Management and Finance Cloud modules is highly preferred to provide a holistic approach to the client’s financial ecosystem.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
