Position Overview
Nukasani Group Inc is seeking three (3) experienced Power BI Developers at the Subject Matter Expert (SME) level to support enterprise-scale analytics and reporting initiatives. This is a long-term contract opportunity that offers 100% remote flexibility. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of Power BI solutions, from data modeling to the publication of interactive dashboards that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and prototype interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business needs.
- Build and maintain scalable data models using industry best practices to ensure high performance.
- Develop advanced calculations and data transformations using DAX and M Query.
- Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure data privacy and compliance.
- Integrate Power BI dashboards into external applications using Power BI Embedded.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries and review execution plans to improve data retrieval speeds.
- Create and modify database tables and views, primarily within SQL Server environments.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior BI team members.
- Support Agile/Scrum development processes, including effort estimation and sprint participation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI development, including Data Modeling, DAX, and M Query.
- Strong background in SQL query development and database management (SQL Server preferred).
- Experience integrating multiple disparate data sources into a unified reporting layer.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification (PL-300 or equivalent).
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Azure AD and Exchange.
- Deep understanding of data governance, security, and access control concepts.
- Experience working within large, enterprise-scale IT environments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 per year (Estimated)
