Role Overview: Healthcare Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Manager to lead a critical migration project within the healthcare sector in Charlotte, NC. This role is specifically focused on the transition from a legacy patient feeding solution to a modern, integrated replacement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that this complex migration occurs with zero downtime for patient services, as dietary and nutritional support are vital components of acute care. This position requires a unique blend of technical project management expertise and a deep understanding of hospital hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for the patient feeding solution migration.
- Coordinate closely with clinical staff, dietary departments, and IT teams to ensure the new system meets all nutritional and medical requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring that implementation deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Track project status meticulously, providing regular updates to executive leadership regarding milestones, potential bottlenecks, and dependency management.
- Oversee the data migration process from legacy systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with healthcare privacy regulations.
- Facilitate post-go-live stabilization, including troubleshooting immediate technical issues and managing user feedback for system optimization.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings to align non-clinical hospital hospitality goals with clinical patient care standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years specifically within a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale system migrations or software implementations in an acute care setting.
- Strong familiarity with hospital hospitality services, specifically patient feeding, dietary management, or nutrition systems.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or an equivalent recognized credential is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical vendors and clinical stakeholders.
- Experience with risk assessment and contingency planning in high-stakes environments where service disruption is not an option.
- Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, to facilitate direct collaboration with hospital leadership and staff.

Salary: $118,000 – $162,000 per year
