Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering: Lead the effort to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements. You will act as a bridge between non-technical business units and the engineering teams, translating complex business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. You will facilitate regular communication, manage expectations, and ensure that all parties are aligned with the project’s progress and strategic objectives.
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking. You will be responsible for maintaining the project schedule and ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within the defined budget.
- Meeting Leadership: Organize and lead project meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and steering committee updates. You will provide clear, concise status reports that highlight achievements, upcoming tasks, and potential roadblocks.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential project risks and develop robust mitigation strategies. You will be expected to navigate challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, ensuring that project momentum is maintained despite unforeseen obstacles.
- Methodology Application: Apply a deep understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. You will tailor your management style to the specific needs of each project to maximize efficiency and quality.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in functional project management within an IT or software development environment. We are looking for individuals who are not just task-oriented but are strategic thinkers capable of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- PMP or CSM certification is a significant advantage.
