About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Verification Engineer to drive complex RTL design verification across multiple design aspects. You will join a pioneering team working on next-generation optical communication systems (800G, 1.6T, and beyond), contributing to cutting-edge innovations in AI connectivity and modern data infrastructure. This is an on-site position requiring 5 days a week at our Austin, TX location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, architect, and execute verification strategies based on design specifications.
- Develop and maintain verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Define and implement comprehensive coverage models, including corner-case scenarios.
- Debug RTL functionality in collaboration with design and architecture teams.
- Perform coverage collection, analysis, and closure to ensure functional completeness.
- Participate in design reviews, test plan development, regression runs, and sign-off activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in digital/RTL engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in design verification.
- Strong understanding of VLSI verification flows, concepts, and tools.
- Proven experience completing at least one full verification cycle (block or system level).
- Hands-on expertise with SystemVerilog and UVM (or equivalent frameworks such as Specman/eRM or SystemC).
- Strong debugging skills with experience in waveform analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital data-path or protocol-level verification (e.g., Ethernet or high-speed interfaces).
- Expertise in functional, code, and corner-case coverage methodologies.
- Exposure to mixed-signal or analog/digital verification environments.
- Strong communication skills, including writing test plans and presenting results.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $65 – $85 per hour (Estimated)
