Role Overview: Salesforce Data Cloud Developer
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. This is a critical role focused on the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly known as Data 360) within complex enterprise environments. As a local candidate, you will be at the forefront of our data transformation initiatives, ensuring that our clients leverage the full potential of their CRM data architecture. This position is not merely advisory; it is a hands-on delivery role that requires deep technical configuration, development, and implementation expertise.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Execution
- Lead the comprehensive implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud, ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise systems and data lakes.
- Architect and deploy robust integrations between Azure Databricks and Salesforce Data Cloud to facilitate high-performance data processing and analytics.
- Configure and optimize Databricks connectors, managing both Batch and Zero-Copy options to meet specific business requirements for data freshness and latency.
- Design and execute Data Streams for efficient data ingestion from various sources, including cloud storage, external databases, and real-time APIs.
- Implement advanced Zero-Copy Federation use cases to minimize data redundancy and improve real-time access to external data sources without physical movement.
- Fine-tune Identity Resolution rules and match criteria to create a unified, 360-degree view of the customer across multiple platforms and touchpoints.
- Manage Data Lake Objects (DLOs) and perform precise mapping to the Customer 360 data model to ensure data consistency and usability.
- Develop custom logic and process automations using Apex, Lightning Flow, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance the Data Cloud experience.
- Activate and push curated data segments to Salesforce CRM orgs, enabling personalized marketing and sales interactions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data integration, data platform engineering, or enterprise CRM data architecture.
- Proven track record of at least one full-scale, enterprise-level production implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Deep technical proficiency in JavaScript, Apex, and the Salesforce CRM development ecosystem, including LWC and Flow.
- Strong understanding of data governance, scalable architecture design, and secure data handling practices within a cloud environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data flow issues and optimize performance in a production setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architects and data engineers.

Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
