Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned SAP EPPM (Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management) Consultant to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is specifically tailored for a professional with deep expertise in supporting large-scale datacenter construction programs. In the rapidly expanding world of digital infrastructure, managing CAPEX-driven construction portfolios requires a unique blend of SAP technical mastery and construction industry acumen. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of project structuring, financial control, and procurement integration within the SAP ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and configure Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), networks, activities, and milestones tailored for datacenter construction lifecycles.
- Manage complex project budgets, including forecasting, availability control, and actuals tracking.
- Oversee accruals, settlements, and Assets Under Construction (AUC) capitalization processes to ensure financial accuracy.
- Integrate SAP Project Systems (PS) with Materials Management (MM) and Ariba for seamless contract and PO management.
- Facilitate the management of service entry sheets, change orders, and subcontractor relationships within the SAP framework.
- Support schedule and resource planning in close alignment with the Construction PMO and commissioning teams.
- Develop advanced reporting dashboards for cost tracking, progress measurement, earned value analysis, and risk management.
- Collaborate with diverse teams including Real Estate, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and PMO.
- Drive continuous process improvements and the deployment of standardized templates for construction workflows.
- Automate manual project management tasks to increase operational efficiency across the portfolio.
Technical Requirements
- 8-12 years of hands-on experience in SAP PS, focusing on project accounting and investment management.
- Proven experience in Construction, EPC, or large CAPEX infrastructure projects (Datacenters, Utilities, or Industrial).
- Strong proficiency in integrating SAP PS with MM and FICO modules.
- Exposure to SAP PPM, EPPM, or Primavera P6 integration is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of construction-specific financial controls, including progress measurement and change management.
- SAP PS Certification is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $245,000 per year
