Role Overview: SAP EWM Functional Analyst
Intellectt Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP EWM Functional Analyst to join our dynamic consulting team for a critical project based in Dallas, TX. This is an onsite contract position that requires a professional with a deep understanding of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and its integration within the broader SAP ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that the EWM solution is not only functional but also optimized for maximum operational efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: You will work directly with business stakeholders and warehouse managers to gather detailed requirements. This involves conducting workshops, analyzing current state processes, and defining the future state vision for warehouse operations.
- Functional Specification Development: Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications. You will be responsible for documenting process flows, data mapping, and logic requirements for custom developments, ensuring that the technical team has a clear roadmap for implementation.
- Configuration and Design: Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP EWM modules. This includes inbound and outbound processing, internal warehouse movements, physical inventory, and integration with Material Flow Systems (MFS) and Radio Frequency (RF) devices.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with ABAP developers and other technical teams to ensure that all custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces align with functional requirements and adhere to SAP best practices.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Support and lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles. You will be responsible for creating test scripts, executing test cases, and managing the resolution of any defects identified during the testing phases.
- Cutover and Hypercare: Assist in the planning and execution of cutover activities. Provide intensive hypercare support post-go-live to ensure that business users are comfortable with the new system and that any immediate issues are resolved quickly.
- Template Governance: Ensure that all local requirements are aligned with the global template standards. You will act as an advocate for standard SAP functionality, minimizing custom code where possible to ensure long-term maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience in SAP ERP Logistics Execution (LE) and EWM Logistic Distribution is mandatory.
- Proven track record in SAP ERP 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) integration and management.
- Strong functional and configuration skills within the SAP EWM environment, specifically in S/4HANA environments.
- Deep knowledge of business processes related to warehouse management, supply chain logistics, and distribution center operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical developers and non-technical business users.
- Organized, structured, and autonomous work style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience in multi-system environments, including integration with SAP TM, YM, and external automation systems.
- Strong documentation skills, ensuring that all functional specs, training materials, and process maps are accurate and up-to-date.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $138,000 – $178,000 per year (Estimated)
