Role Overview: SAP FICO Solutions Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary SAP Financials Solutions Architect (IC4) to join our dynamic IT team in Santa Clara, CA. This onsite role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade SAP Financial solutions that align with our strategic business objectives. As a lead architect, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP FI/CO modules, ensuring that our financial systems are robust, scalable, and integrated seamlessly with other business functions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of SAP architecture combined with a strong background in finance and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Architect, design, and implement comprehensive SAP Financials solutions, ensuring they meet rigorous business requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead the analysis, design, and deployment of new SAP FI/CO functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
- Manage complex, end-to-end SAP Financials projects, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery within a 6+ month duration.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, and IT, to ensure successful project outcomes and system harmony.
- Translate complex business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for SAP Financials solutions.
- Design, configure, and support SAP Multi Bank Connectivity (MBC) to facilitate secure and efficient integration with global financial institutions.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing support of Vertex tax automation solutions to ensure global compliance with sales, use, and VAT tax requirements.
- Optimize SAP Concur integration for streamlined travel and expense management, ensuring policy compliance and automated reimbursement workflows.
- Leverage SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to develop advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide real-time financial insights for executive decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Finance.
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in IT, with at least 8 years focused specifically on SAP Financials solutions.
- Proven track record of leading multiple full-lifecycle SAP FICO implementations.
- Deep proficiency in SAP FI/CO modules and a strong understanding of integration points with MM, SD, and HR modules.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Multi Bank Connectivity (MBC), Vertex, SAP Concur, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- PMP or similar project management certification is considered a significant advantage.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $180,000 – $230,000 per year
