Role Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior SAP Finance Consultant to join our dynamic team for a critical project based in Salisbury, North Carolina. This role is a hybrid position, requiring the candidate to be local to the North Carolina area. As a Senior SAP Finance Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our financial transformation initiatives, leveraging your deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA to drive efficiency and innovation. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, focusing on the design, development, and optimization of financial systems. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP FICO and have successfully completed at least two full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize core SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of S/4HANA Finance innovations, specifically focusing on the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, Fiori Apps, and Embedded Analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration between finance and other business units.
- Support complex integrations with external banking platforms, treasury systems, tax engines, and various third-party financial applications.
- Provide high-level Level 3 application support for finance modules, troubleshooting system performance issues and delivering enhancements aligned with business requirements.
- Develop comprehensive conversion and system implementation plans, ensuring all documentation is approved and meets system standards.
- Train end-users on new system functionalities and support them through the conversion and implementation phases.
- Monitor system performance and recommend strategic changes in development and maintenance standards to optimize financial operations.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in SAP FICO consulting.
- Proven track record with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Deep functional expertise in SAP Finance with demonstrated proficiency in system configuration.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA features, including Fiori apps and Analysis for Office.
- Technical proficiency with interfaces, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and basic debugging techniques.
- Experience working in multi-company code and multi-currency environments is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required to interact effectively with business leaders.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
