Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and global rollout of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) processes across key regions including the US, India, and Ireland. This role is pivotal in establishing standardized and compliant Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes while adeptly supporting complex US pharmaceutical commercial sales requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP SD Solution Leadership: Lead end-to-end design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA SD across global business units. Own the complete Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle, encompassing sales order processing, delivery, billing, returns, and credit/debit notes. Drive global template standardization.
- US Pharmaceutical Commercial Sales Expertise: Design SAP SD solutions tailored for US pharma sales models, including distributor-based sales, pricing agreements, chargebacks, rebates, promotions, and returns. Partner effectively with US commercial and finance stakeholders.
- Integration with SAP and External Systems: Ensure seamless integration with SAP FICO, MM, WM/EWM, PP, and QM modules. Lead integration efforts with 3PLs, EDI platforms, distributors, and logistics partners.
- SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Rollout Leadership: Lead blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases. Support global rollouts for India and Ireland.
- Master Data & Governance: Govern SD master data, including customer master, pricing, and hierarchies. Ensure data consistency and adherence to governance policies.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure SD processes comply with pharmaceutical controls and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary SAP SD lead for US stakeholders. Lead system integrators and mentor SAP SD consultants.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15-18 years of SAP SD experience, preferably in the pharma or life sciences industry.
- 3-5 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C), pricing, billing, and returns processes.
- Solid integration knowledge with SAP FICO, MM, WM/EWM, PP, and QM modules.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with US pharmaceutical commercial sales operations.
- Exposure to wholesale, distributor, chargeback, and rebate processes.
- Familiarity with Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) and Settlement Management.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $95 per year
