Position Summary
We are looking for a veteran AEM Architect with over 15 years of professional experience to lead the architectural vision for our enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Manager platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem and the ability to design scalable, high-performance digital experiences for global brands. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical lighthouse, guiding development teams through complex migrations and multi-site management strategies.
Core Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define the end-to-end architecture for AEM implementations, including the design of custom components, OSGi services, and Sling models.
- Infrastructure & Performance: Optimize Dispatcher configurations, CDN integration, and JCR repository performance to ensure sub-second page load times across global regions.
- Integration Strategy: Lead the integration of AEM with other Adobe Cloud products such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign, as well as third-party CRM and ERP systems.
- Governance & Best Practices: Establish coding standards, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Adobe Cloud Manager.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to senior developers and leads, ensuring that the implementation aligns with the long-term architectural roadmap.
Required Technical Stack
- Expert-level knowledge of AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Deep proficiency in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, and Jackrabbit Oak.
- Experience with Front-end technologies (HTL, React/Angular) in a headless or hybrid AEM context.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, including SAML, OAuth, and SSL.
- Proven experience managing large-scale content migrations and multi-lingual site structures (MSM).
Professional Qualifications
Candidates must possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 8 years dedicated specifically to AEM Architecture. You should have a proven track record of delivering at least 5 full-lifecycle AEM enterprise implementations. Excellent communication skills are required to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical business stakeholders.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $190,000 – $250,000 per year (Estimated)
