Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to join our innovative team in San Jose, California. This is a long-term contract opportunity, initially set for 12 months with a high probability of extension up to 24 months. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for architecting and deploying advanced ML solutions that impact millions of users. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring in a production environment.
Technical Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable data pipelines using PySpark to handle massive datasets efficiently.
- Develop, train, and optimize production-grade machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
- Implement deep learning architectures including CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs to solve complex business problems.
- Utilize AWS and SageMaker for model development, hosting, and scaling AI initiatives.
- Translate high-level business requirements into technical data science roadmaps and actionable insights.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into core product offerings.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $245,000 per year (Estimated)
