Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Exchange-365 Administrator and Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role is critical for operating, enhancing, and expanding our existing Azure environment and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The successful candidate will take full ownership of day-to-day infrastructure operations while driving architectural improvements and supporting new enterprise-level projects. This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension, requiring a candidate who is local to the Philadelphia area.
Core Responsibilities
- Azure Infrastructure Management: Operate and improve the existing Azure landing zone. Manage Azure networking components including VNet peering, VPN, Private Endpoints, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Provide expert-level administration and policy management for M365 services, specifically Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Intune. Lead Office 365 projects as the primary technical support contact.
- Identity & Governance: Administer hybrid identity solutions using Entra ID (formerly Azure AD Connect) and cloud-only identity environments. Implement and manage Azure Policy, RBAC, and governance frameworks.
- Automation & IaC: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a strong preference for Terraform, to automate environment provisioning. Develop and maintain PowerShell or Azure CLI scripts for operational efficiency.
- Operations & Maintenance: Monitor server performance, conduct diagnostic tests, and manage failover procedures. Participate in disaster recovery exercises and work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot application issues.
- Device Management: Manage mobile devices and security policies within Microsoft Intune to ensure a secure and compliant endpoint environment.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of general IT infrastructure experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in production Azure environments.
- Deep expertise in Exchange Online and the broader Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for cloud and on-premises automation.
- Experience supporting complex hybrid cloud environments.
Interview & Selection Process
The selection process for this role involves a multi-stage evaluation. Candidates must be prepared for an initial video interview followed by a mandatory onsite/face-to-face interview in Philadelphia. Due to the nature of the onsite requirements, we are only considering local candidates at this time; relocation assistance is not provided. This role is open to candidates on any valid US work visa.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $45 – $45 per year
