Position Overview: Senior SailPoint Identity (IIQ) Engineer
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior SailPoint Identity (IIQ) Engineer for a critical onsite role in Dublin, Ohio. This position is designed for a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain, specifically focusing on the implementation, customization, and maintenance of SailPoint IIQ platforms. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical roadmap for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions, ensuring that our client’s security posture is robust, compliant, and scalable. The role requires a deep understanding of enterprise-level identity challenges and the ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Duties
- Application Integration: Lead the end-to-end integration of diverse authoritative and non-authoritative application sources. This includes hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of out-of-the-box connectors for systems such as Workday, Active Directory (AD), LDAP, SAP, Salesforce, and various JDBC-compliant databases.
- Custom Development: Utilize expert-level knowledge of Bean Shell scripting to develop custom rules, including correlation rules, creation rules, and exclusion rules. You will be expected to write complex logic to handle unique business requirements that fall outside standard configuration.
- Workflow Automation: Design, develop, and deploy custom SailPoint workflows to automate business processes. This involves deep expertise in the SailPoint workflow engine and the ability to translate business requirements into technical logic.
- Lifecycle Management (LCM): Implement and manage the full identity lifecycle, including Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes. You will ensure that access is provisioned and de-provisioned accurately and timely across all integrated systems.
- API Integration: Leverage SailPoint IIQ APIs (REST/SOAP) to build custom integrations and enhance the platform’s capabilities. This includes developing custom tasks and reports to meet organizational needs.
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Lead RBAC modeling exercises, working with business stakeholders to define roles, entitlements, and access policies. You will implement and maintain these models within the IIQ environment.
- Compliance and Certification: Configure and manage access certification campaigns. You will work closely with audit and compliance teams to ensure that all access reviews are completed according to regulatory requirements.
- CI/CD and Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines for SailPoint deployments, ensuring a streamlined and error-free promotion process across development, testing, and production environments.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 7 years dedicated to SailPoint IIQ implementation and support.
- Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of the SailPoint IIQ architecture, including the underlying database schema and object model.
- Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in Java, Bean Shell, XML, and SQL. Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) is mandatory.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of IGA concepts, including identity lifecycle, governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Work Arrangement and Compensation
This is a strictly onsite position located in Dublin, Ohio. Candidates must be willing to work from the client location daily. The compensation for this role is set at a best rate of $60/hr on a C2C (Corp-to-Corp) basis. This role offers a long-term engagement opportunity for a consultant who can demonstrate immediate value and technical leadership in the SailPoint space. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a high-pressure environment.
