Position Overview: ServiceNow Program Manager

We are seeking a high-caliber ServiceNow Program Manager for an urgent, long-term strategic initiative based in New York City. This role is designed for a leader who excels in the PMO (Project Management Office) space and has a deep understanding of the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module. This is a hybrid position, primarily remote, but requires the candidate to be local to the NYC area for twice-monthly in-office collaboration. This is a non-technical management role focused on execution, stakeholder alignment, and the successful delivery of global back-office enhancements. In the 2026 corporate landscape, the ability to manage complex digital transformations across hybrid teams is the hallmark of a successful Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the ServiceNow SPM Module Enhancement project, coordinating efforts across diverse business units and global technology teams.
  • Establish and maintain a robust project framework, including detailed planning, budget oversight, and strategic resource allocation.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly stand-ups, ensuring that the PMO functions at peak efficiency and that all team members are aligned with project milestones.
  • Manage the program’s RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) with a proactive approach to mitigation and problem-solving.
  • Deliver comprehensive weekly status reports to senior leadership, providing clear insights into project health, budget burn rates, and delivery timelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the ServiceNow platform owners and the broader business community, ensuring that technical enhancements meet strategic business needs.
  • Provide indirect leadership and oversight to both internal resources and third-party service providers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Required Experience and Professional Competencies

  • Extensive experience in Program Management within a global organization, specifically focusing on ServiceNow implementations or enhancements.
  • Proven track record of standing up and running PMO functions for large-scale enterprise projects.
  • Deep expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid) and advanced reporting techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex project statuses and risks to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management, with the ability to navigate political landscapes and drive consensus across competing interests.
  • Experience managing ServiceNow SPM (formerly ITBM) modules is highly preferred.
  • Ability to lead effectively in a remote environment while maintaining the discipline of a traditional PMO.

The 2026 Hybrid Work Model

This role represents the future of work in 2026, offering the flexibility of remote management while recognizing the value of face-to-face strategic sessions in our NYC office. The project is a critical back-office transformation that will streamline how our global organization manages its portfolio of investments and technology projects. We are looking for a candidate who is not just a task manager, but a strategic partner who can help shape the future of our PMO. If you have the experience to drive high-visibility ServiceNow projects and the leadership skills to manage a global team, we encourage you to apply for this long-term engagement.

Special Requirements

Visa: Any. Hybrid (2 days/month in NYC office). Must be local. Non-technical PM role. Domain: PMO/ServiceNow SPM.
