Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled L3 SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Support Engineer for a 6-month onsite engagement in Seattle, WA. This role is part of a global operations team and focuses on providing top-tier technical support, incident resolution, and request management for SharePoint Online and the broader Microsoft 365 suite. The ideal candidate is a SharePoint expert who can navigate complex administrative tasks while also troubleshooting integrated Power Platform solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud-based collaboration tools and the ability to resolve high-priority issues that impact business continuity across a global user base.
Core Responsibilities
- L3 Incident Management: Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues related to SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and the Power Platform. You will be responsible for deep-dive diagnostics and permanent resolution of recurring problems.
- SharePoint Online Administration: Manage the SharePoint Admin Center, oversee site collection provisioning, and assist with webpart design. You will ensure that permissions and compliance settings are correctly applied at the tenant, site, and item levels.
- OneDrive for Business Support: Provide expert-level support for OneDrive sync issues, retention policies, and backup/recovery scenarios. You will troubleshoot large file upload failures and connectivity errors that impact user productivity.
- Power Platform Integration: Resolve issues related to Power Automate flows and Power Apps that are connected to SharePoint sites. This requires a strong understanding of how these tools interact within the M365 ecosystem.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Monitor the health of the SharePoint infrastructure, performing performance tuning and handling outages with a sense of urgency.
- ITIL Compliance: Adhere strictly to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management to ensure a stable and predictable environment.
Technical Requirements and Environment
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD (Entra ID). You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment where collaboration across time zones is common. This position is strictly onsite in Seattle, WA, requiring the consultant to be physically present at the client location. The role offers a competitive rate of $55/hr on a C2C basis. As an L3 engineer, you will also be expected to mentor junior support staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes. Your expertise in performance troubleshooting, outage handling, and diagnostics will be critical to maintaining the integrity of the SharePoint Online environment. ONSITE- Seattle, WA; 6 months duration; C2C rate includes VMS charges.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $114,400 – $125,000 per year
