Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Solutions Architect with a strong background in modern technology stacks, including .NET full stack development with Angular/React, TypeScript, and extensive experience on AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of architecting enterprise solutions and a deep understanding of cloud-native engineering principles. This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to drive solutions, guide teams, and engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the architecture and design of complex solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Conduct detailed discussions with technical and business teams to gather requirements and define solution scope.
- Hands-on coding and development when required, demonstrating proficiency in modern technology stacks.
- Architect and implement enterprise solutions on modern technology stacks, leveraging cloud-native services.
- Utilize expertise in AWS cloud services, including API Gateway, MSK, SNS/SQS, Lambda, Batch, App Mesh, Istio, Step Functions, Glue, Data Pipeline, Lake Formation, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, EFS, S3, and Athena.
- Incorporate emerging technologies such as GenAI or AI/ML into solution designs where appropriate.
- Ensure solutions are built with a strong foundation in software engineering principles, including OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, and code instrumentation.
- Work with methodologies and tools such as XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, and SonarQube to ensure rapid delivery of high-quality products.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, presenting technical concepts and solution designs clearly and concisely.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing diverse situations, complex projects, and changing priorities with passion, empathy, and care.
Technical Expertise Required:
- .NET Full Stack: Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Angular/React, and TypeScript.
- AWS Cloud: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native services.
- Architecture & Design: Deep understanding of enterprise solution architecture, OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, and diagramming techniques (BCD, sequence, activity, state, ER, DFD).
- Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB).
- AI/ML & GenAI: 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE.
- Tools: Experience with ADO, GitHub, SonarQube.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is preferred but not required.
- Ideally 12-18 years of relevant experience. Candidates with significantly higher experience may not be suitable if they are no longer hands-on.
- Proven experience in architecting enterprise solutions (8+ years).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native engineering on hyper-scalers like AWS (8+ years).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Time Zone Availability:
- Must be available to work within CST or EST time zones.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Tax and Immigration domains.
- Experience with user experience design principles.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
