Job Description:
We are seeking two Senior Automation Engineer resources to backfill immediate needs. The ideal candidates will have experience working within the healthcare industry, preferably with CVS. This role focuses on enterprise RPA delivery and requires deep hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere A360.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare enterprise RPA solutions.
- Utilize Automation Anywhere A360 (Control Room, device pools/bot runners, queues, credentials/locker, packages, bot lifecycle, AARI).
- Implement agentic automation / Agent Process Automation (APA) patterns, including human-in-the-loop, tool/function calling, prompt/version control, evaluation/monitoring, and safe-guards.
- Write clean, testable Python code and integrate Python and APIs into automation solutions.
- Perform process analysis, design, implementation, and system testing.
- Architect and build end-to-end automation solutions.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Work with XML and XSD structures.
- Build and manage custom APIs.
- Lead projects end-to-end, including UAT and hypercare.
- Troubleshoot issues and identify fixes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and learning.
- Communicate effectively with diverse clients and vendors.
- Analyze complex systems and their relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including enterprise application support/integration.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on process automation/RPA delivery experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Automation Anywhere A360 experience as a senior/lead developer.
- Deep experience with Automation Anywhere A360 features.
- Experience with Agent Process Automation (APA) patterns.
- Proficient in Python, including packages, virtual environments, logging, and exception handling.
- Experience with process analysis, design, implementation, and system testing.
- Strong technical experience in architecting and building end-to-end solutions.
- Experience with business and technical requirements gathering.
- Strong understanding of XML and XSD structures.
- Experience building custom APIs.
- Experience leading projects end-to-end, including UAT & hypercare.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated desire for continuous improvement and learning.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in analyzing complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Automation Anywhere certifications (A360 Advanced/Master).
- Control Room administration experience.
- Hands-on experience in IQ Bot / Meta Bot / Task Bot.
- Experience with GenAI/LLM integrations for automation.
- Python ecosystem familiarity (requests, pandas, pytest).
- CI/CD practices for automation code (source control, pipelines, code reviews).
- Proficient in Windows and Linux server operating systems.
- Strong work experience in HTML/Java/Perl/JavaScript/SQL Server/Web Services/APIs.
- Familiarity with Data Modeling, Data Mining.
- Data visualization skills using PowerBI or other packages.
- Familiarity with process mapping/mining tools.
- Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), Retail Pharmacy, and/or Healthcare experience.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or information management field or equivalent technical experience.
