Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer specializing in the Seismic Platform to join our dynamic team in Irvine, California. This onsite position is a critical role focused on leading advanced analysis, design, and optimization of Seismic content and automation capabilities. As the enterprise landscape evolves in 2026, the need for scalable, automated content operations has never been more vital. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the future state architecture of our Seismic environment, ensuring it aligns with broader business and platform strategies while driving significant value realization across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deep content model analysis across various Seismic repositories to ensure data integrity and structural efficiency.
- Lead comprehensive workflow mapping initiatives to understand the current state of content operations and identify high-impact automation opportunities.
- Design and implement sophisticated automation solutions to streamline the entire lifecycle of content creation, management, and distribution.
- Optimize Seismic content structures to support global scalability, reuse, and rigorous governance standards.
- Define and document a robust future state architecture that provides a clear transition roadmap for the platform.
- Partner closely with business, content, and technical stakeholders to drive platform adoption and ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure a shared understanding of data constraints.
Technical Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Seismic content models and automation tools, including Seismic LiveDocs and LiveForms.
- Proven experience with Seismic Document Generator Express and managing platform integrations across complex enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, architecture, and the translation of business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Advanced proficiency in Jira for managing stories, tasks, and defects, including the definition of clear acceptance criteria and dependencies.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends, quality issues, and support root cause analysis for data defects.
- Experience working in large-scale, complex enterprise environments with a focus on data governance and operational excellence.

- Experience in supporting testing, validation, and release readiness activities, including comprehensive operational handoffs.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
