Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to manage and maintain our Tableau Server environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Tableau Server administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and user management. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our Tableau deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Tableau Server environments.
  • Administer Tableau Server, including user provisioning, group management, and permission settings.
  • Monitor Tableau Server performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as backups and restores.
  • Implement and manage security policies and procedures for Tableau Server.
  • Optimize Tableau Server for performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical support to Tableau users and assist with troubleshooting Tableau Desktop and Online issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure Tableau meets organizational needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tableau Server Administrator.
  • In-depth knowledge of Tableau Server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online.
  • Understanding of database connectivity (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.
  • Experience in performance tuning and monitoring of Tableau Server.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
