Job Description
Quantum World Technologies Inc. is looking for an experienced TOSCA Automation Engineer for a long-term contract position. This role is 100% remote and focuses on enhancing our quality assurance capabilities through model-based test automation. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of quality management, from planning and design to execution and analysis, ensuring all products meet rigorous organizational standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Utilize Tricentis TOSCA for model-based test automation across complex application suites.
- Conduct API testing using Postman to ensure robust backend communication and data integrity.
- Perform data validation and backend testing using advanced SQL queries.
- Execute performance and load testing using JMeter to identify system bottlenecks.
- Lead complex testing projects with multiple dependencies, focusing on Integration and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
- Collaborate with App Suite Quality Engineers to assist in test lead activities and strategy development.
- Manage defects and track testing progress within Jira.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve speed to delivery for business partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven expertise in TOSCA test automation and model-based testing methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in API testing tools, specifically Postman.
- Solid understanding of SQL for data verification and backend analysis.
- Experience with JMeter for performance engineering and load simulation.
- Familiarity with Jira for project management and bug tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory for this remote collaboration role.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
Quality Engineering Focus
In this role, you will focus on a blend of skills enabling efficient execution of risk-based testing. You will be instrumental in test data management and test environment management. By integrating automated testing into the continuous deployment lifecycle, you will help our business partners achieve faster release cycles without compromising on quality. We are looking for a proactive professional who can navigate complex dependencies and provide clear, actionable quality insights to the development team.
Special Requirements
Contract role; C2C (Corp-to-Corp); 6% VMS deduction applies; 100% Remote.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $93,600 – $105,000 per year
