Role Overview
FNB is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated UI Angular Developer to join their dynamic application development team in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a critical role focused on building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications for banking platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of frontend development experience and a deep understanding of the Angular ecosystem. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of the frontend architecture while ensuring that all applications meet the rigorous security and performance standards required in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, dynamic web applications using Angular (v10+) and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and designs into high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate frontend components with complex RESTful APIs and backend services to ensure seamless data flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI performance issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal user experience.
- Maintain security and compliance standards, particularly those relevant to financial and banking applications.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing technical insights and contributing to sprint planning and reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency.
Required Technical Skills
- 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Expert-level proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as RxJS and NgRx for complex application states.
- Strong expertise in REST API integration and asynchronous programming patterns.
- Proven experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development strategies.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working within the banking or financial services domain is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for better backend integration and full-stack collaboration.
- Experience working with Microservices architecture and cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma to ensure robust code.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
