Role Overview: Varicent ICM/TQP Expert
We are seeking a highly specialized Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) and Territory and Quota Planning (TQP) Expert to join our consulting team. This role is critical for driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex sales performance management solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and enhancement of Varicent ICM models, specifically focusing on Calculations, Tables, Imports, and Presenter reports.
- Design and configure complex compensation and quota rules to align with evolving business strategies.
- Conduct rigorous functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure accuracy in commission payouts and territory alignments.
- Perform deep-dive SQL data validation and manage ETL integration processes to maintain data integrity across platforms.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to derive requirements, document findings, and provide strategic process improvement recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues independently, performing root cause analysis for defect resolution in live environments.
- Mentor junior team members on Varicent best practices and the latest features of Varicent V10.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in enhancing and maintaining Varicent (formerly IBM Cognos ICM) models.
- Proven expertise in the TQP module and experience with Varicent ICM V10 is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a significant advantage due to the specific regulatory and business process nuances.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing consulting and stakeholder management.

Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
