Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Zoho Specialist to support a critical initiative focused on optimizing and enhancing the Zoho product suite implementation for the Office of Business & Entrepreneurship. This role will play a key part in analyzing the current environment, identifying gaps, and delivering scalable, standards-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Zoho CRM and related modules, along with hands-on development experience using Deluge scripting and Java.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the current Zoho implementation and define a strategic improvement roadmap.
  • Design, develop, and implement Zoho solutions including:
    • CRM customizations
    • Workflows, APIs, and integrations
    • Reports, dashboards, and UI layouts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, and stakeholders) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Develop and execute testing plans for system enhancements and migrations.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing system support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, processes, and best practices.
  • Ensure solutions align with Zoho standards and are optimized for enterprise support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience with Zoho product suite, including:
    • Zoho CRM
    • Zoho Campaigns
    • Zoho Backstage
    • Zoho Analytics
  • 5+ years of experience with:
    • Deluge scripting (Zoho development)
    • Java-based development within Zoho environment
    • XML development and integration standards
  • Strong understanding of:
    • System analysis and design
    • Technical documentation
    • Monitoring and reporting tools
    • Enterprise application integrations (APIs, web services)

Project Details

  • Enhance and stabilize existing Zoho implementation for business operations.
  • Work closely with leadership to redesign workflows and improve system efficiency.
  • Develop scalable processes, documentation, and governance for long-term success.

Special Requirements

Must be a current Wisconsin resident. Hybrid role with occasional on-site meetings required within Wisconsin. Interview Process: Zoom/Teams (45-60 mins, camera on).


Compensation & Location

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Madison, WI
