Job Title: Angular Architect

Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, enterprise Angular applications, ensuring modularity, scalability, and high performance. This role requires a deep understanding of modern web development practices and a proven track record in delivering complex frontend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, enterprise Angular applications, ensuring modularity, scalability, and high performance (10+ years of web development experience).
  • Angular Expertise: Expert knowledge of Angular (v12-17+), including deep understanding of Directives, Pipes, Dependency Injection, and Change Detection strategies.
  • Reactive Programming: Advanced proficiency in RxJS for complex asynchronous data streaming and state management.
  • State Management: Extensive experience implementing state management libraries such as NgRx or NGXS in a distributed application environment.
  • TypeScript Mastery: Expert-level command of TypeScript, including advanced types, decorators, and interfaces to ensure type-safe development.
  • Enterprise Design Patterns: Mastery of Angular-specific patterns like Smart/Dumb components, Lazy Loading, and Micro-Frontends (MFE) using Module Federation.
  • Data Structures & Algorithms: Strong foundational knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms to optimize frontend processing and complex UI logic.
  • Styling & UI: Deep expertise in CSS3, SCSS/SASS, and responsive design frameworks (Angular Material, Bootstrap, or Tailwind).
  • Testing & Quality: Proven experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Jest, and E2E testing with Cypress or Playwright.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Performance Optimization: Advanced skills in optimizing Angular applications (AOT compilation, Tree Shaking, and OnPush strategy).
  • Tooling: Proficiency in Angular CLI, Nx Dev Tools (for Monorepos), and build tools like Webpack or Vite.
  • API Integration: Expert experience consuming RESTful APIs and WebSockets using Angulars HttpCient.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with deploying Angular apps to AWS/Azure and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Soft Skills & Methodology:

  • Strategic Problem Solver: Ability to navigate complex technical debt and provide high-level solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.

This is a long-term contract position requiring onsite presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Austin, TX.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $95 per year (Estimated)
