About the Role:

We are seeking a talented AI/ML Engineer for a 12-month contract position in Austin, TX. This role is for a direct client and requires candidates with prior experience, ideally from Apple. The engineer will be responsible for developing, training, and deploying machine learning models, working with large datasets, and integrating ML solutions into production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics and automation.
• Work with large datasets to clean, preprocess, and analyze data.
• Implement various ML algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
• Build robust data pipelines and integrate ML models into production systems.
• Optimize model performance and ensure scalability of ML solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with data engineers and product teams to translate business requirements into practical ML solutions.
• Monitor model performance in production and retrain models as necessary to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Document models, processes, and experiment results thoroughly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with LLM, Deep Learning, and NLP concepts.
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Experience in data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Familiarity with building data pipelines and MLOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Prior experience at Apple is preferred.
