Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and polished Technical Project Manager for a long-term, hybrid engagement based in Bethesda, Maryland. This position is designed for a seasoned professional with 10-12 years of experience who possesses the executive presence required to interface directly with C-level leadership and senior stakeholders. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading high-visibility enterprise initiatives, ensuring that complex technical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of managing multi-faceted projects in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the full lifecycle of multiple technical projects, from initial discovery and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project plans, resource allocations, risk mitigation strategies, and status reports.
- Create and deliver high-quality, polished PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership, translating complex technical data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and steering committee sessions, ensuring alignment across diverse business units and technical teams.
- Manage project budgets and financial forecasting, identifying potential variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Drive the adoption of project management best practices and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
- Identify, track, and resolve project issues and risks, proactively communicating potential impacts to senior management.
- Mentor and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and excellence.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 10-12 years of professional experience in Technical Project Management, specifically within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Exceptional executive presentation skills with a mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint and other visualization tools.
- Proven experience presenting to and influencing C-level executives and senior leadership teams.
- Strong background in managing enterprise-level technical initiatives, such as cloud migrations, software development lifecycles, or infrastructure upgrades.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certifications are highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Bethesda, MD; this role is restricted to local candidates only.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year
