Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in a hybrid capacity, supporting critical financial services infrastructure. This role is specifically tailored for a professional with a deep understanding of the Java ecosystem, modern frontend frameworks like React, and robust cloud-native development on AWS. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the design and development of web application enhancements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in daily team ceremonies with the engineering team to ensure alignment on project goals and sprint objectives.
- Work closely with engineering and technical leads to drive the architectural design and development of complex web application enhancements.
- Engage with integration partners and various stakeholder teams to gather technical requirements and share progress updates.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable code across the full stack, including backend services and frontend user interfaces.
- Implement and manage data processing pipelines using Spark and AWS Step Functions.
- Ensure autonomous delivery across the entire technology stack, from infrastructure as code to frontend deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high standards of software quality.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java, Spring Boot, and React or similar modern web application frameworks.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ETL processes, Apache Spark, and AWS Step Functions.
- 2+ years of experience working within the AWS ecosystem, including services like Lambda, S3, and EC2.
- Prior experience working within the Capital One environment is strictly required for this role.
- Proven ability to deliver software autonomously across the full stack.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
