Position Summary
Procorp Systems is looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with extensive AWS expertise to join our engineering team. This role is designed for a developer with an end-to-end product mindset, capable of handling everything from initial architectural design to final deployment and maintenance. You will be working in a high-stakes banking environment, building scalable microservices that power critical financial transactions. This position is available in Columbus, OH, Wilmington, DE, and New York City, NY.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable microservices using Core Java and J2EE frameworks.
- Architect and implement cloud-native applications on AWS, utilizing EKS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs that integrate seamlessly with various banking systems.
- Implement real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and Amazon MSK.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum framework to meet sprint goals and deliver high-quality features.
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing using JUnit and Mockito to maintain code quality.
Technical Stack Distribution
- 60% Backend Development: Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, REST APIs, Spring Boot.
- 30% Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch).
- 10% DevOps & Tools: Kafka, Jenkins, Git, Jira, SQL/NoSQL Databases.
Domain and Experience Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of overall software development experience, with at least 3 years specifically within the Banking or Financial Services domain. A deep understanding of financial regulations, security protocols, and high-concurrency transaction processing is essential. We are looking for individuals who embrace a Full Stack Product Engineering (FSPE) mindset, taking ownership of the entire lifecycle of the features they build. Exposure to AI/ML concepts is considered a significant advantage as we look to modernize our financial platforms.

Special Requirements
Banking domain (3+ years mandatory). Local candidates only. 10+ years experience required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year
