Role Overview
The EPM Oracle Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud (EPBCS) Consultant role is a pivotal position within our client’s financial transformation initiative in San Antonio, Texas. As organizations in 2026 move towards more integrated and real-time financial planning, the need for experts who can navigate the complexities of Oracle’s EPM suite has never been higher. This specific engagement focuses on the Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS), a critical tool for businesses looking to gain granular insights into their cost structures and revenue streams. - Proven track record of successful EPM Cloud implementations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data and logic issues.
In this role, you will be the primary architect for PCMCS configuration and model building. This involves a deep dive into allocation rules, where you will define how costs are distributed across various business units and products. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify cost drivers and build profitability models that reflect the true economic reality of the organization. Your expertise in dimension design and data model setup will be essential in creating a system that is both flexible and robust. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the end-to-end data integration process, using Oracle’s Data Management tools to ensure that metadata and transactional data are loaded accurately and efficiently. Beyond the technical setup, you will play a key role in empowering business users. This includes building intuitive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights at a glance. You will also develop Smart View templates, allowing finance professionals to interact with EPM data directly within Excel, a preferred interface for many in the field. As an administrator, you will oversee the security framework, manage Lifecycle Management (LCM) processes, and ensure that system snapshots are taken regularly for disaster recovery and environment migration.
