Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Windows Developer to join our engineering team onsite in Columbus, Ohio. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing Teller Windows-based solutions, with a heavy emphasis on automation, infrastructure management, and modern application deployment strategies. The ideal candidate will bring over 7 years of hands-on experience in the .NET ecosystem and a passion for building secure, scalable, and high-performance software. In this role, you will be at the forefront of OS upgrades and enterprise-level application imaging, ensuring our infrastructure remains cutting-edge and resilient.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Windows desktop and server applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Architect and implement automation scripts using PowerShell and Batch to streamline infrastructure builds and deployment pipelines.
- Build and manage application images, ensuring seamless compatibility with Windows 10/11 and enterprise deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate manual deployment processes.
- Integrate complex applications with relational database systems, including SQL Server and Oracle, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deep-level technical issues related to application deployment, infrastructure stability, and OS compatibility.
- Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, task estimation, and daily stand-ups.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including deployment guides and architectural diagrams.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software development lifecycle.
Required Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience in Windows-based application development.
- Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, WPF, and WinForms.
- Advanced experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch) for automation and infrastructure-as-code tasks.
- Proven experience in building and managing application images for enterprise-wide deployment.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and T-SQL.
- Hands-on experience with source control systems like Git and TFS, and a solid understanding of DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements for Windows applications.
- Familiarity with UWP (Universal Windows Platform) and modern enterprise desktop deployment strategies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Special Requirements
Onsite requirement in Columbus, OH. Preferred experience in financial services or regulated industries.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 per year (Estimated)
