Position Summary
Clevanoo LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Tester for a critical onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for a professional with at least 5 years of experience in manual testing and a strong background in creating comprehensive test cases from business requirements. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing procedures and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires a 100% onsite presence and is restricted to local candidates who can participate in an onsite interview process.
Core Responsibilities
- Define product test plans and criteria for acceptance to ensure all business requirements are met.
- Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures to improve overall software quality.
- Resolve testing process questions and issues in a timely manner to maintain project timelines.
- Assist in the planning, creation, and control of test environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Conduct inspections and resolve issues identified during the testing lifecycle.
- Coordinate and execute assembly or product tests with the Test Team, Application Team, and Program Manager.
- Assist Team Leads in monitoring estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks.
- Work with Test Team members to enhance their testing skills and build technical and business knowledge.
- Update and test release installation procedures to ensure smooth deployments.
- Stay aware of new developments in the industry and apply them to work processes as appropriate.
- Determine time estimates and schedules for work efforts and own tasks.
- Define and utilize entry/exit criteria for various testing phases.
- Schedule and lead structured walk-throughs or inspections to resolve potential issues early.
- Work closely with users to ensure that solutions meet specific business requirements.
- Identify and track issues, risks, and action items using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of application testing experience using manual testing techniques.
- 5+ years of experience creating detailed test cases from business requirements documentation (e.g., use cases).
- 5+ years of experience documenting test results in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a 100% onsite environment in Columbus, OH.
- Must be a local candidate with a valid Driver’s License (DL) copy available for submission.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
