Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Fullstack Developer for a critical hybrid role based in Austin, Texas. This position requires a seasoned professional with over 12 years of industry experience to lead and contribute to complex multi-application environments. As a local candidate, you will be expected to participate in mandatory in-person interviews and work in a hybrid capacity from our Austin office.
Technical Requirements and Stack
- Frontend Excellence: Proficiency in both Angular and React is essential for building dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
- Backend Mastery: Extensive experience in Java development, focusing on scalable and robust application architecture.
- Database Management: Strong knowledge of both NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational databases (SQL) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Testing Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Ruby and Java Cucumber for automated testing and ensuring code quality.
- DevOps and Tools: High proficiency in Github for version control and collaborative development.
- Observability and Big Data: Practical knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and BigQuery for large-scale data analysis.
- Domain Knowledge: Transmit knowledge is highly desirable for this specific project environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle of enterprise-grade applications. You will design and implement complex features across the full stack, ensuring seamless integration between frontend components and backend services. A significant portion of the role involves optimizing database performance and maintaining high standards of code through rigorous testing using Cucumber frameworks. You will also leverage Splunk and BigQuery to provide insights into application health and data trends. Collaboration is key, as you will work within a multi-application ecosystem requiring strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex technical dependencies. Your 12+ years of experience will be vital in mentoring junior developers and driving architectural decisions that align with long-term business goals.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
