Role Overview
As we move into 2026, the demand for high-performance, scalable web architectures has never been greater. We are looking for a visionary Angular Architect to join our team in Los Angeles. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for the technical roadmap of our enterprise-grade frontend applications. You will not just be writing code; you will be defining the standards that our entire development organization follows. The ideal candidate has a deep-seated passion for the Angular ecosystem and a proven track record of delivering complex, distributed frontend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Strategy: Design and implement modular, scalable frontend architectures using Micro-frontend patterns and Module Federation to support independent team deployments.
- Technical Leadership: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns (SOLID, DRY, Clean Architecture) across multiple project streams.
- Performance Engineering: Optimize application performance, focusing on bundle size reduction, advanced change detection strategies, and efficient rendering cycles to ensure a top-tier user experience.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of senior and mid-level developers, conducting deep-dive code reviews and technical workshops on RxJS, NgRx, and TypeScript.
- Collaboration: Partner with Backend Architects to design robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and state management across the stack.
- Innovation: Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for emerging technologies and frameworks, staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving JavaScript landscape.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in software development with at least 4 years specifically in architectural leadership roles.
- Expert-level proficiency in Angular (v17+ preferred), TypeScript, and reactive programming with RxJS.
- Extensive experience with state management libraries such as NgRx or Akita.
- Deep understanding of modern CSS (SCSS/SASS), HTML5, and responsive design principles.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $230,000 per year (Estimated)
