This is a pivotal role where you will lead the architectural strategy and implementation of enterprise-grade CRM solutions tailored for global manufacturing operations. As a subject matter expert, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that our Salesforce ecosystem drives efficiency, visibility, and growth across sales, service, and partner networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall technical design and will serve as the primary point of contact for all architectural decisions related to the Manufacturing Cloud instance, ensuring that the platform scales effectively with the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end architectural design and implementation of Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define business objectives and translate them into scalable technical roadmaps and solution designs.
  • Design and manage complex integrations between Salesforce and various ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) to ensure seamless data flow and operational consistency.
  • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Salesforce Flow orchestration to meet unique business needs.
  • Optimize manufacturing-specific processes, including sales agreements, account-based forecasting, and rebate management, to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and environment management to ensure high-quality deployments and system stability.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Conduct rigorous code reviews and architectural assessments to ensure system integrity, performance, and security compliance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce releases and features, particularly within the Manufacturing Cloud, and provide recommendations on how to leverage them for business value.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-12 years of hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong background in development and architecture.
  • At least 3 years of dedicated experience implementing and architecting Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud in a large-scale environment.
  • Proven track record of successful ERP-to-Salesforce integrations, demonstrating a deep understanding of middleware and API management.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Flow, with the ability to build complex, high-performance components.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing industry sales processes, including long-term demand forecasting and supply chain dynamics.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps, and a strong understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect credentials are highly preferred.

Technical Environment and Methodology

In this role, you will operate within a sophisticated technical landscape that prioritizes automation and scalability. You will be expected to utilize modern DevOps practices to manage the application lifecycle, from development through to production. The environment involves high-volume data processing and real-time integration with legacy manufacturing systems. You will work closely with the IT infrastructure team to ensure that the Salesforce platform is robust, secure, and capable of supporting the global scale of our manufacturing operations. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks is essential for success in our fast-paced project environment.

Soft Skills and Leadership

Beyond technical prowess, we are looking for a leader who can communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate the challenges of a large corporate environment. The role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of projects and drive them to completion while maintaining high standards of quality.
