Role Overview: Senior Selenium WebDriver QA Specialist
Dia Software Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Selenium WebDriver QA professional to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. This role is designed for a quality assurance expert who thrives in a hybrid work environment, balancing the collaborative energy of on-site presence with the flexibility of telework. Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to ensure the highest quality of software delivery.
- Build and enhance sophisticated automation frameworks, including data-driven, hybrid, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) models.
- Execute comprehensive testing cycles, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing, to identify and mitigate risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Analyze complex business requirements to create detailed test scenarios and test cases that align with project goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and architects, to clarify requirements and ensure testability.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform manual and automated API testing to validate backend services and microservices architecture.
- Conduct thorough defect tracking, root cause analysis, and impact assessments to maintain a stable production environment.
- Ensure seamless integration of automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Provide detailed test coverage analysis and quality metrics reporting to stakeholders to inform release decisions.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of dedicated experience in Quality Assurance and automated testing.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and a deep understanding of automation tool ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Java (preferred), C#, or Python for automation scripting and framework development.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Expertise in API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured.
- Strong SQL knowledge for backend validation and data integrity checks.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter and security testing basics.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $118,000 – $158,000 per year (Estimated)
