Position Summary
Core Alliance Group Inc is looking for an experienced AEM Developer to join our engineering team in Columbus, Ohio. This contract position focuses on building and scaling enterprise-grade digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in Java-based web development and a comprehensive understanding of the AEM architecture, including Sites, Assets, and the underlying JCR.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and customize AEM components, templates, and OSGi services to meet specific project requirements.
- Architect and implement complex workflows within AEM to automate content management processes.
- Integrate AEM with external APIs and third-party systems to create a seamless digital ecosystem.
- Utilize Sling Models and HTL (Sightly) to build robust, maintainable front-end components.
- Manage and optimize the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system for high-volume content environments.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and accessible front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline management.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Expertise in Java, J2EE, and the Apache Felix (OSGi) framework.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Sling and the Java Content Repository (JCR).
- Familiarity with CRXDE Lite and AEM Dispatcher configurations.
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and JSON integration.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and automated deployment tools.
