Job Description: Free Switch Software Engineer
We are looking for a talented Free Switch Software Engineer with expertise in SIP and C/C++ to join our client’s team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VoIP technologies and experience with FreeSWITCH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain FreeSWITCH applications and modules.
- Implement and manage SIP-based communication systems.
- Work with SIP media gateways and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
- Develop and troubleshoot SIP stack and SIP UA components.
- Utilize C/C++ for software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience with Voice/VoIP technologies.
- 2-5 years of experience with FreeSWITCH.
- 5-10 years of experience in C/C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of SIP protocols.
- Experience with SIP media gateways and Session Border Controllers (SBCs) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SIP Stack and SIP UA.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Must be local to Austin, TX with a valid Texas Driver’s License.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
