Role Overview:

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a skilled Workday System Analyst for a hybrid role in Sunnyvale, CA. This position requires hands-on experience configuring multiple Workday HCM functional areas, troubleshooting and developing integrations, and building custom reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Workday platform, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. This role is critical for ensuring the successful implementation and support of Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on configuration of various Workday HCM functional areas, including core HCM, absence, benefits, compensation, business process, and security.
  • Troubleshoot, develop, and maintain integration systems across the Workday integration platform, including integrations with ERP and third-party applications.
  • Build and debug custom reports, EIBs, connectors, document transforms, XSLT, calculated fields, BIRT, and Workday Studio.
  • Collaborate effectively with Integration resources in a highly integrated system landscape.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure the quality and stability of Workday solutions.
  • Maintain IT Business system integrity, application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates.
  • Work closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure the release of high-quality solutions.
  • Follow the Intuitive change management process and analyze the impact of changes on the corporate application landscape.
  • Gather requirements from HR or business users and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Work with business end users, gathering requirements and building detailed functional design specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience working on the Workday platform, with Business Systems Analyst / Development experience in both full-cycle implementation and support roles.
  • Strong experience with Workday project implementations and the Workday integrations platform.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration of new and existing Workday features (user management, roles/profiles, permissions, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, calculated fields, condition rules, validations, business processes, notifications).
  • Experience building and debugging custom reports, EIBs, connectors, document transforms, XSLT, calculated fields, BIRT, and Workday Studio.
  • Experience collaborating with Integration resources.
  • Experience conducting unit, integration, and regression testing.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Workday Pro Certifications (Integrations and HCM) are preferred.

Detailed Job Description:

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
