Role Overview
1RPO is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DT Kinaxis Maestro Solution Architect to join their team. This is a remote contract position based in Edison, NJ, focusing on designing and implementing advanced supply chain planning solutions using the Kinaxis Maestro platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain planning processes and extensive experience with Kinaxis implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture: Analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications for Kinaxis Maestro solutions. Architect customized solutions within the Kinaxis system, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Kinaxis Platform Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro modules, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and capacity planning.
- Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead for Kinaxis implementations, guiding project teams and ensuring successful project delivery. Own the shared understanding of project scope from high-level objectives to detailed functionality.
- Integration Management: Manage data mapping and integration between Kinaxis and other enterprise systems, such as SAP ECC and non-SAP transactional systems. Experience with integration tools like Talend/Databricks is essential.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external partners, outsourcers, and technology application vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Documentation & Training: Create detailed technical documents outlining system functionalities, data structures, and integration points. Provide training to end-users on Kinaxis system functionalities and troubleshoot post-implementation issues.
- Process Improvement: Advise business partners on the optimal use of Kinaxis systems and assist with process development. Find and propose innovative solutions that enable process automation, leveraging best practices and technologies.
- Testing & Validation: Coordinate system integration testing based on user or system design specifications.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze highly complex business requirements and problems to ensure logic and design are in alignment with the core architecture of the systems/applications.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Kinaxis Experience: Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting process design in Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse with a strong understanding of its modules. Extensive experience with Kinaxis configuration, data modeling, and advanced features. Multiple end-to-end life cycle Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro project implementations are required.
- Supply Chain Planning Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Production Planning/MRP, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, PP/DS, and other advanced planning software.
- Integration Skills: Familiarity with data integration tools such as Talend/Databricks, system architecture, and database concepts within Kinaxis.
- ERP Experience: Experience with industry standard ERP system implementations (waterfall and agile methodologies).
- Technical Skills: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or a related technical field with 10 years of experience, OR a Master’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
- Soft Skills: Highly self-directed, ability to learn quickly, drive and deliver results, excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, professional maturity, and executive presentation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical experience and working knowledge in SAP ECC MRP, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
- Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is highly desirable.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year
