Job Opportunity: Oracle SCM Technical Consultant (Hybrid)

O2F Inc., a preferred staffing vendor for Fortune 500 companies in the US, is seeking an experienced Oracle SCM Technical Consultant for a long-term contract position. This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules and expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for seamless integrations.

Role Summary:

The Oracle SCM Technical Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and extending Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules, including Order Management, Inventory, and Procurement. A key aspect of this role involves utilizing OIC for real-time and batch integrations with third-party systems. The consultant will design and develop integration flows, manage data transformations, and ensure robust error handling.

Key Requirements & Skills:

  • SCM Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in implementation, support, or upgrades for Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory Management, Order Management (OM), Logistics, Manufacturing).
  • OIC Development: Proficient in designing integration flows, building mappings, handling errors, and managing data transformations within Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Integration Patterns: Experience with SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON integration protocols.
  • Data Conversion & Extraction: Knowledge of File-Based Data Import (FBDI) for bulk data loading and BI Publisher (BIP) reports for data extraction.
  • SCM Specifics: Familiarity with Oracle Service Logistics, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Business Events for real-time updates, FTP/SFTP adapters, and SOAP/REST adapters.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Integration Development: Design, develop, and deploy OIC integrations between Oracle SaaS applications and various third-party systems.
  • Data Migration: Utilize FBDI and OIC for efficient data extraction and loading into Oracle SCM modules.
  • Workflow Configuration: Set up and configure approval workflows and notification systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and technical support for identified issues.

Tools & Technologies:

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM (Order Management, Inventory, Procurement)
  • FBDI, BIP, SOAP, REST
  • Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) database (often used with OIC)

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (BE, BTech, MCA) or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Oracle SCM and integrations.
  • Must have completed at least one full-cycle implementation project.

This is a long-term contract opportunity offering a hybrid work model in Austin, TX.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Austin, TX
