Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled AEM Developer with 8+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects, focusing on backend development, content management, and web technologies. The position is hybrid and requires candidates local to New York for F2F interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AEM solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Utilize strong AEM concepts, including Sling models vs. Sling Servlets, and understand key backend annotations.
  • Implement multi-site manager (MSM) and its functionalities.
  • Work with AEM 6.4 or above, including AEM queries, AEM Workflow launchers, and Assets API.
  • Develop using Java 8 or above, Gradle, REST, SOAP, Spring Boot, and JDBC.
  • Interact with databases such as Sybase or SQL Server, and use PL/SQL.
  • Implement web technologies including HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular/React, NPM, and AJAX.
  • Utilize version control systems like Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Work with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
  • Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM and associated technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience as an AEM Developer.
  • Expert-level experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), Java (8 or above), and object-oriented design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and development (SQL, Sybase).
  • Working knowledge of web technologies (JS, CSS, HTML5, Angular/React), web infrastructure, caching, and security.
  • Familiarity with Unix bash scripting and/or Python.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum).
  • Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Financial Services industry experience is a plus.

Location and Employment Type:

  • Location: New York (Hybrid)
  • Employment Type: C2C Contract
  • Rate: $60/hr on C2C (including 6.4% VMS charges)

Special Requirements

Visa: H1B and US citizen. Local to New York required for F2F interview. Hybrid work model.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $70 per year
