Job Overview:
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking experienced ERP Developer 3 professionals to support a critical migration project. This role requires a highly skilled PeopleSoft Financials developer with strong expertise in legacy system analysis, data migration, and ERP application development. The position involves working independently on complex tasks, contributing to system integration, and potentially leading or guiding other team members. A high level of creativity, problem-solving, and technical expertise is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, review, and modify ERP programming systems including coding, testing, and debugging.
- Support and enhance PeopleSoft Financials applications.
- Analyze legacy systems built on the .NET framework.
- Reverse-engineer business logic and extract critical data from legacy systems.
- Perform complex data migration from legacy systems to PeopleSoft.
- Ensure seamless integration of software into ERP systems.
- Maintain technical documentation and communicate system logic clearly.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Perform standard SDLC activities and additional project tasks as needed.
- Provide support during off-hours when required by project phases.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of overall experience in ERP development.
- At least 2+ years of experience with People Tools.
- At least 2+ years of experience with People Tools version 8.59 or higher.
- Strong experience with advanced Oracle databases.
- Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET).
- Experience working with SQL Server stored procedures.
- Proven experience in complex data migration from legacy systems to PeopleSoft.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the public sector (Federal, State, or Local Government).
- Experience with Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials.
- Familiarity with Jira.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
