Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud DBA to join one of our client’s teams in Austin, TX. This is a long-term contract position with a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Database Administration, particularly with versions 12c/19c, and a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Oracle databases (12c/19c).
- Manage and optimize performance within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and RMAN strategies.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions using RAC and Data Guard.
- Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation and scripting for database management.
- Proven experience in cloud migration projects.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
