Role: BI Architect
TestingXperts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Architect to join their dynamic team for an onsite position in Atlanta, GA. The BI Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the business intelligence architecture to effectively support business requirements. This role involves managing data tools, building data pipelines, and ensuring data accuracy.
Job Overview:
The BI Architect will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s data strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools, with a proven ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement BI Solutions: Design and implement BI software and systems, ensuring seamless integration with databases and data warehouses.
- Data Analysis: Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for leveraging BI solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and team members to understand their needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to users to ensure the effective utilization of BI solutions.
Required Skills:
- Solution Architecture: Strong understanding of solution architecture principles and the ability to design and implement complex business solutions.
- Power BI: Essential proficiency in Power BI for creating and managing BI and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights.
- Data Modeling: Solid background in data modeling, including the design and implementation of relational databases.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Data Architecture: Understanding of data architecture principles and methods.
- SQL: Proficiency in SQL for data management and manipulation.
- ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools for data integration.
- Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and structures.
- Data Visualization: Skills in data visualization and reporting tools beyond Power BI, such as Tableau.
- Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- Python/R: Programming skills in Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Machine Learning: Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects and leading teams.
